The Indio Water Authority’s Engineering Section is responsible for planning, designing, budgeting, and construction of major capital improvements to the Indio Water Authority’s water transmission and distribution systems. Additionally, the Engineering Section keeps current with new technologies and water quality issues, while remaining sensitive to mitigation of environmental impacts, and maintains records of water facilities, installations, and maps.
All developer-installed facilities must be installed in accordance with the approved Indio Water Authority’s standard plans/specifications and inspected by the water inspector. The following engineering information is available:
